We hired the venue for a wedding. The room came up beautifully. It's a great location, with lovely views, and loads of natural light with the lights of the city as the light fades, Maureen was terrific to work with, with loads of parking, privacy, no noise issues, a large dance floor and the price reasonable. Highly recommended.

“WOW, what an ambience!” Maureen is the venue contact & is an absolute pleasure to work with. Visiting the club, we were also helped by the president & other members of the club in accessing the venue at different times. Everyone was always willing to please. The size of the venue is amazing, facilities are great eg: dance floor, good sized kitchen with ample fridge space, tables, chairs, beautiful balcony, bar tables & sound system. My daughter was married in the Horses Paddock right next door to the club making the event very easy & accessible for all wedding guests. We used the services of Piquant Catering, Floranectar Flowers & Fairytale Events & again flawless service by all. We were extremely happy with all aspects of our daughter’s wedding & it was topped off by, picture-perfect weather on the day. We would highly recommend the HHSC."

It was a bit of work to organise but the flexibility of the venue allowed us to arrange the perfect catering, decoration and the fantastic Mandarin band .....all at a beautiful location right next to the harbour. What more can we ask for. ....oh and Maureen was a pleasure to work with to make sure everything was in order before, during and after the event. Thank you so much!"

"We celebrated a major milestone in our family when my grandad turned 100. We chose to celebrate at the Hunters Hill Sailing Club which was a brilliant choice. 130 guests were easily accommodated at a catered sit-down function and stand-up pre-lunch drinks. Many guests have very positive feedback.
Maureen was very helpful and responsive throughout the whole process and gave great recommendations and suggestions to make the day a really special occasion. I would highly recommend HHSC for your next function."

The sailing club was a stunning location for our wedding! Maureen was great at running us through venue hire details and connecting us to decorators for our event. The venue was overlooking the Cockatoo Island and had a view out to Clark's Point. It was beautiful and was organised so well. Maureen was great at accommodating us and answering any questions. "Hunters Hill Sailing Club was an amazing venue for our Sangeet. The setting is stunning and the surrounding parklands were perfect for our photos. Maureen and her team are extremely accommodating and easy to work with, making the whole process stress-free. Hunters Hill Sailing Club is the perfect blend of a blank canvas wedding venue where we could decorate it exactly as we wished and use the space in a completely free way without any restrictions which other venues might have, whilst still having the support of the venue doing the cleaning and up keep before and after the wedding. We would thoroughly recommend Hunters Hill Sailing Club as a wedding venue!"

It is such a unique space. The atmosphere is amazing and the views are beautiful. Maureen is very WONDERFUL to work with. She made the whole process so easy, and took great care of the details. "I recently had my 60th birthday party at the HHSC. This is the second event we have held here, and we were not disappointed again!
The venue is perfect. It has a marvellous view which is romantic at night and exciting during the day. The kitchen is of a commercial standard and everything is immaculate. They have also recently installed a brand new dance floor which makes having fun easy.
We used the preferred caterer (Piquant Catering) and the food was fantastic, and Bec from FairyTale Events (also a preferred supplier) made the space look wonderful.
Organising an event at HHSC is seamless. Maureen is so easy to deal with and has an answer for every question. I would not hesitate recommending HHSC and I can’t wait to host another event here!"

Super helpful tips and advice as well as great suggestions for the Decorating team which we used - Fairytale Events - great value and very professional - turned the venue into our theme beautifully. Venue facilities were all we needed and the event was a hit, enjoyed by all."
