2026 HHSC Winter Frostbite Series

HHSC is pleased to host the 2026 Frostbite Winter Series. This series is an opportunity to get on the water over the off season.

4 long course races. One per month over 4 months. All classes against each other. 49ers vs Optis. Parents vs kids. Instructors vs students. All fleets sail on the same course and results are calculated using Australian Sailing Yardsticks.

There will be 3 awards for 1st, 2nd and 3rd overall on yardstick but no results will be published until the presentation after the last race. Just sail fast. Don't worry about where you finished on the score sheet.

There is no fee for the Frostbite series, however, you must have paid HHSC membership and boat storage before your first race.

Intending competitors must also ensure insurance is up to date.

INSURANCE

• Participants are advised that HHSC’s third party liability insurance cover does not extend to participants. 
• Participants must make their own private arrangements with an insurer.
• Each participating boat shall be insured with valid third-party liability insurance with a minimum cover of $10,000,000.
• Confirmation of such insurance must be provided prior to a boat’s first race.
