These are roles where we need to identify volunteers on a more regular basis or project basis to assist with the safe operation of sailing at HHSC.
A number of formal roles are immediately required:
(1) Scoring - data management of club race results into our score management system - (up to 2 people)
(2) Training & Induction Captain: Working with the Commodore to refresh Club guidelines and procedures for all Volunteer roles (up to 2 people) and to schedule and facilitate Club induction and training activities.
(3) Risk Management Project - to ensure the continued safe sailing operations, an annual review of our risk environment is required (2 - 4 people)
(4) Race Officer or Protest & Arbitation Officer - online training by Australian Sailing and on the job support provided by HHSC members
(5) Boat Captain - to assist in the overseeing the maintenance of our fleet of club motor craft (2 people). The majority of any regular maintenance is conducted by external mechanics. Members are required to assist with monitoring the safety and condition of our Motor Boats.
(6) Learn 2 Sail Club Clothing Storage and cleaning - new process for storage of our L2S loan gear and assistance with regular washing and revamp of clothes racks and storage.
