A free Try-Sailing event for women and girls hosted by Hunters Hill Sailing Club to provide an introduction and taster to the sport. 

Training boats and lifejackets are provided.

HHSC has limited placements in order to provide a high level of support. Sailing is a complex sport and will not be suited to everyone, it is a challenging and rewarding. Wind and water are constantly changing and sailors must adapt to tactics, strategy, rules, self-reliance, self-confidence and team work.

Discover Sailing Day – Come and Try Sailing!

Ever wondered what it’s like to go sailing? Join us for a Discover Sailing Day and experience the thrill of being on the water while exploring your local sailing club.

• No experience needed – just bring your sense of adventure
• Perfect for families, friends, and anyone curious about sailing
• Friendly club members will be there to welcome you and answer questions

Prerequisite: For safety reasons, participants must be confident in and around the water.

By the end of the day, you’ll have:

• Experienced sailing firsthand
• Discovered the fun and community spirit of your local club
• Learned about exciting courses, activities, and ways to keep sailing
