Race Days
The Club monitors and responds to the popularity of various classes and chooses to conduct races in those that can demonstrate consistent and active fleets. In 2022/23 Racing will commence at 12:00hrs (noon) for the Optimist Dinghy Fleet, while the Senior Fleet (comprising Open Mixed Single Hander, Open Mixed Double Hander, Lasers, Flying 11’s, RS Quests,29ers and Mirrors) will commence at 14:30 (2:30 pm).
In our Open Mixed Single Hander Fleet, we welcome all single-handed dinghies, such as Lasers, RS Aeros, Melges 14, Spirals, Ok Dinghies, Sabres and the like. Racing will be conducted using Yardsticks and adjusted accordingly.
Our Open Mixed Double Hander Fleet welcomes all types of asymmetric or fast two-handers, such as any 9er, Cherub, NS14, Tasar, 420, 470 and the like. Racing will be conducted using Yardsticks and adjusted accordingly.

15 INSURANCE
15.1 Participants are advised that HHSC’s third-party liability insurance cover does not extend to participants. Participants must make their private arrangements with an insurer.
15.2 Each participating boat shall be insured with valid third-party liability insurance with a minimum cover of $10,000,000.
15.3 Attention is drawn to the Australian Sailing Insurance Program at Australian Sailing.
